The choice is yours

Choose today whom you will serve.
Joshua 24:15

Everybody needs to choose a side of whom to serve in their lives.
It’s a continuous challenge to decide every day to do the things God wants us to do and it’s a process to choose HIM over all the circumstances.

When you’re sick, choose him as your healer. When you’re broke, choose him as your financier, when you’re having a family, choose him as your head of household!
I know that it’s sometimes very difficult to make that decision, but it will never be too tough, because God promised us to be with us in every situation and he will always provide a way to escape out of the darkness.

Even when it seems that there is no escape, God has already planned for you a path where to go. Where ever you go, whatever you do and with whom, choose a life with God, choose the way with HIM and you will see the blessings in your life.

The devil doesn’t tempt you when God is somewhere else, not knowing what is happening to you. The Spirit of God is constantly there with you, guiding and protecting you. And he will provide you with the weapons and power you need to overcome all obstacles.

Sooo we need to choose to walk in love, to walk with hope, to walk with JESUS, to walk in faith and to live by the Word! Choose the way, the truth and the life. Choose HIM!

The touch of God´s hand

I don´t know in what situation you are in, but have you ever experienced the touch of God´s hand in your life? Or would you even recognise it as God? Or would you maybe not even know that this something happened because of HIM?

A few days ago, a friend told me that God has never spoken to her and that she doesn´t feel anything of God in her life. I told her that God has so many different ways to speak to us and it could be that you feel God while reading the Bible or that another person says something what let you feel HIM or what gives you a revelation.

Only one or two days later she told me that she encountered God in an everyday situation and that she could feel that God loves her so much, which encouraged her incredibly.

In small situations God works inside of us. We just need to be attentative and identify it correctly.

Moments when you have almost missed the bus, but somehow you reached it before leaving. Or when you are somewhere talking randomly to strangers and you are having a nice talk. For me this is the touch of God in your life. He is blessing you with good encounters and nice little moments.

It´s not always that huge boom when God is with you. He is with you in every situation, also in this small ones.

Let us try to acknowledge those moments and give thanks to God that he is with us wherever we go!

The way we speak

If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Romans 12:18

The Bible tells us here to live in peace with everyone, but honestly, sometimes it feels like we couldn´t live in peace with anyone! It happens that when we open our mouth we say ugly things, words that hurt other peoples feelings and we even speak harsh to our beloved ones.

Sometimes we critices other people, the things they do or say.

And most of the times this is a really bad habit. We are just so used to speak and critize that we can´t not do it.

If you look into the Bible, it says: “Let there be no coarse, stupid, or flippant talk; these things are out of place; you should rather be thanking GOD.” – Ephesians 5:4

Wow! I love this verse. It is so true. Sometimes we get lost in our stupid behaviour and we are not even thinking about it. But God gives us the command to stop with this flippant talk! I mean we are children of God, and we are supposed to talk in a fitting way – in a Godly way.

In order for us to archieve that, we should ask God for forgiveness and then turn around and stop talking in a harsh way to others.

I know that that´s not as easy as it sounds, but let me tell you that with the help of the ALMIGHTY, we will be able to behave in a way that pleases the Lord.

Make it a habit to speak as friendly as you can. Even if there is something incredibly annoying, don´t start speaking out loud your thoughts! First think about the words of God, pray, praise God and then react calmly!

This is how we improve ourselves and even bring joy to those around us.

Throw your sorrows over board

In these days many people sorrow about their future, their health, their money and so on.

But is there the need that we as christians sorrow about tomorrow?

The bible says multiple times that we shall not be afraid, that we shall trust the Lord with all our heart and with all that is within us.

If the part in the church starts where it´s about tithing, many christians are not very excited, they might even be very stingy. But why? They think that they can´t afford spending money, because they will need it for other important things.

But they don´t understand that GOD is our saviour and that HE will supply us with everything we need! HE will give us everything and we do not need to worry about anything!

The Bible says that even the birds have enough food to eat, that God provides for them, although the birds never have accomplished anything for the kingdom of God. How much more will God provide everything for YOU – for his child?

Don´t ever worry about tomorrow, because God will stand right next to you. Even though you might not be feeling his presence all the time, he is there with you – doesn´t matter where you are going – HE is with you.

Whenever sorrow or fear comes in to your mind, whenever you feel anxious about something, throw it over board. Throw it out of your life. Tell the problem that your God is bigger than all these problems and that HE will solve everything for you!

Trust God. Read in the Bibel to feed your spririt with his powerful and encouraging words. Believe me, God knows everything that happens in your life and he will not let you down. Keep standing close at his side and ask for his provision.

Take HIS Word as the last Word

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8

Jesus is the beginning and the end, he is the almighty God. This is such a powerful truth about him that we can apply in our everyday life!

Here is how we can apply it:

He says that he is the beginning. So how can we incorporate that knowledge?

We should face everything we do with God. Every obstacle we are facing, we should face it with God. Every discussion we have, we should have go into that discussion with God.

The Bible says that Jesus is the Word – the Scipture, so if we are not sure what God wants us to say in a discussion or to do when we are facing that obstacle – let´s open our Bibles and read and find out the answer.

Afterwards, don´t let go of the Word, but continue with it! Because it will grow your faith and in order to live a faithful life we need to feed out spirit daily with the Word of God!

Even when there are attacks of the devil, don´t let go of the Word, because this is excactly what the devil wants.

So stay in the word and settle with God in prayer and stay with it forever.

Next. HE says that he is the ending. How can we incorporate this in our life?

It means that God has the last word about everything. If anyone tells you bad news, it doesn´t mean that it will come to pass, because God always has the last word about everything, keep that in mind. So if your doctor tells you any bad news, first go to God in prayers, because he has the last word about it!

Remember: You are not what the world tells you who you are, you are what God tells you who you are. You can do what the Word tells you what you can do and it also tells you what you have.

We really need to start believing in this! It will change our lifes!

SO what we should do now is to speak it out in faith and believe it.

We have Jesus´ Word, so we know without any doubt that your breakthrough is coming!

Believe it and know that HE has the last word!

The Power of the tongue

“A fool´s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.”
Proverbs 18:7

As Christians we do know that we should always talk in a godly way, but what does that really mean? And is it always that simple?

Sometimes we begin to talk in a worldy way, instead of talking the Word of God , just because everyone around us is talking that way. And sometimes we are receiving exactly what we said – chaos.

The Bible says that we will receive the product of what our lips say.

If you want to change things in your life, you first need to change the way you speak. Because words we speak are truely powerful!

To had your life in a different direction, from chaos to freedom – you must take charge of your words.

I know that it´s not always easy, especially if you are used to speak in a certain way. But let me tell you that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!

It takes God´s wisdom to change the way you speak, as well as his strength for you.

Where can I find God´s wisdom? – The key is the Bible. It is a detailed instruction of how you should live your life and how to speak in a godly way.

Sometimes it is also necessary that we repent before God for saying stupid or evil things. And pray to God that he should lead your tongue and fill your words with love, peace, joy, grace and faith.

Replace all of your negative words with worship and praise. And ask God to remind you to pay attention to your words, so you won´t forget it.

Stop using your tongue to create chaos and start using it to make miracles!

Give God the Glory – Bear fruit!

My Father is glorified, when you bear much fruit; so shall you all be my disciples.
John 15:8

What do you think, when will God be glorified?

When we suffer, when we survive the attacks of Satan, when we are sick?

I think some Christians have that old and traditional thinking that God wants us to life in pain and difficulties.

BUT this is not what the Bible says!

It says that God gets all the glory when they see the lame walk and the blind see (Matthew 15:31). What is the fruit here? Lives are being restored and healed by the power of God.

Whenever something supernatural happens, when the Holy Spirit does it´s work and things are being shifted to the positiv – then you know that´s the fruit. That´s when you are giving God the glory.

God wants you to life a supernatural and powerful life, full of healings, blessings, joy and happiness! When you life by the will of God and do what the Bible says, then you will bear fruit and give HIM all the glory.

Delight Yourself

Blessed is the man that fears the Lord, that delights greatly in his commandments. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
Psalm 112:1,7

A man who delights himself with the Word of God will make it through rough and disastrous times without losing hope.

Such a man has a mind full of God´s Word and will not fall, because he knows what the scripture says.

But sometimes it is difficult to stick to that habit and we find ourselves in the middle of a disaster without knowing how to get out of it and then we start to dig in the Bible, to pray and ask for help. And too often we notice that we started to late.

We can compare it to a person, who wants to win a fight against a Boxer. Shortly before the fight this person starts to train, lift weights and build strength. But can you build muscles in such a short period of time? No, it does not work like that.

And it is exactly the same in our lives. We need to train ourselves every day with reading the Bible, praying and reaching out to God, in order to gain strength until the day we need to fight. Then we will be ready and prepared.

Since we know that we have to fight in this world – and I am not talking about a physical fight – then it would be quite stupid to just sit around and not preparing at all.

We need to change our mindsets to that point that we understand why it is so necessary to train and build a relationship with God.

Then we will be ready before the Devil breaks into our lives.

Turn off all the distractions in the world and turn on the Word of God.

You´ve overcome

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world!
1 John 4:4

Have you ever caught yourself thinking something like: “Under the circumstances I am doing just okay”, or “if I would not be living under those circumstances, I could have done something else..”

If you have ever said something similar, then I really want to kick out these words out of your vocabulary! Because you as a victorious child of God, don´t have any business living your life under your circumstances. You don´t have anything to do with letting problems and situations rule over you!

Since JESUS, died at the cross at Calvary, he stripped Satan of everything. Satan has absolutely no rights to do anything against you.

Jesus took away all his weapon which are forged against you. HE took away the keys to death and hell. HE triumphed over the Kingdom of Satan!

Then Jesus came to you and gave the victory in your hands, because you are of God.

You have overcome through Jesus, because He is living inside of you. So you neeever ever have to life under your circumstances again. Be aware that you have all the power inside of you, through Jesus who is in you!

Live by the Word

Man shall not live by the bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God
Matthew 4:4

The word of God is to your spirit as bread to your body!

If you eat food you nourish your body and you give it strength and power. The same happens if you nourish your spirit with the word of God, you strengthen and empower it and you receive faith.

And just as you can´t eat one meal and live from it for several weeks, you can´t read in the Bible and live with it for several weeks. You need to keep it up on a regular basis. Even if you have read the Bible hundreds of times, you still have to read it again and again.

If you can only remember what the word says, it´s still not nourishing your spirit, you must continually feed on what it says. Get the Bible out and read it. Go to the church and listen to the sermon.

Maybe you know this situation: You´ve read a particular verse hundreds of times and you´ve never really understood it or it never spoke to you, but then you read it again and suddenly the Holy Spirit starts to speak to you and somehow it encourages you and touches your heart in your situation on this day. It´s a completely new revelation from that old familiar verse.

Remember this: You can´t get continued results if you don´t spend time in prayer and in the word of God allowing the Spirit to nourish you daily!

Don´t try to remember the verses you already know or the last spiritual meal. Feast on the word of God today! It will give you strength, motivation and a new revelation every day.

I actually know a preacher who is a great role model for me. He told us that he started to pray continually and the whole day long every 15 MINUTES!

After several days and weeks, he could notice huge differences in his life. He was not only including God in every moment of his life, into his decisions and choices, he also heard God´s voice clearer and stronger. It was because he was searching HIM. And God says in the Bibel, that everyone who searches him and approaches him, WILL FIND HIM!

I asked the preacher how he could manage to not forget to pray every 15 minutes and he advised me to get a small timer which vibrates in a certain interval (which you can set), which will remind me throughout the day to keep the prayer life going.
